Electee Program

The Electee (New Member) Program must be completed within one semester. Electees are required to be active in two community service divisions, one A (15 hour) division, one Z (7 hour) division and 8 buffer hours in any division they desire. Please make sure you understand that a total of 30 community service hours are required in order to pass your Electee semester. In addition, electees must participate in AED socials, intramurals, and fundraisers. Further details are given in the Electee Application located on the Apply Now page. Successful electees are inducted as Alpha Epsilon Delta members at the end of the electee semester during our formal banquet. 

Electee Timeline:

  • Electee Recruitment - Please visit us at our student organization tables around the UF Campus.

    • Dates: TBD

  • Electee Applications Due - Turn your application by the date and time listed on the application.

    • Dates: TBD

  • Electee Interviews - Arrive during your assigned time slot in professional attire to interview.

    • Dates: TBD

  • Electee Orientation - After your acceptance, this meeting will inform you how to pass your electee semester.

    • Dates: TBD

  • Electee Event - This event is a great opportunity to have some fun and meet other electees!

Applicant Requirements

In order to qualify as an applicant, you must have the following: 

  • Two completed semesters of college, one of which must have been at the University of Florida (the other semester could be through dual enrollment) 

  •  3.2 science and cumulative GPA

  • A science GPA at UF 

  • Availability on Thursdays at 6:30pm-8:30pm
